The Australian Bravery Association Brave Youth of the Year is awarded each year to the Bravery award recipient whose act of bravery is judged to be the most outstanding act of bravery by a minor (under 18) in the year award is granted.
The award is sponsored by Dr Geoff Boyce, the ABA Honourary Surgeon. Recipients of the award receive a special plaque, funding to travel to the ABA National Conference and five years membership to the association.
